Searching using my name, "Roy Trumbull", they can't be found and searching using Red_Chief or Tales_HCA they can't be found.

resubmitting those entries might help. you need to "edit item" and submit (you need not make any changes to item). after you submit, items will be indexed with search engine again.

I tried resubmitting and two days later they still haven't been run. I'm back to the hamster spinning the hard drive theory.

maybe you got to try again. it happened to my entries and they were reindexed after i resubmitted them. maybe this trick doesnt work any longer..

I think it also depends upon server items. The server where they are housed may be down, offline or being used for another service. This happens with google. When google is compiling there will be a huge fluctuation of stuff not available.

They use servers to compile and when they are doing this those sservers and what is in them will be offline.
